Pausing during eating to be as present as possible with a whole body feeling a set of sensations. Beyond the thought narratives, what are your body sensations telling you?


· Tuning in to and accepting the positive sensations associated with eating. Enjoying the experience of eating can help us feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally. For some people, savoring, relaxing, and feeling good in the moment can be a challenge. This is a practice to explore the rewards of that range of sensations.


· Noticing when those positive sensations fade. When you're tuned in to body sensations of eating, you'll also be attentive to when the good food feelings fade. That's a wise signal for when you've hit moderation, satisfaction, and the time to end eating.


· Savoring.
